Online, Rotterdam, Utrecht In the B2.2 course, you further develop your Dutch from B2.1 to B2 level, enabling you to actively participate in group discussions, follow more complex reasoning, and give presentations. You’ll learn to give compliments, formulate clear arguments, ask for and give advice, share opinions and experiences, describe or retell information, and make small talk with colleagues, clients, and acquaintances – for example, during lunch or at a social event.
You already know the core grammar of Dutch, but in this course we go into more depth. We focus on improving your speaking, reading, and listening skills, and on expanding your vocabulary – with attention to nuance in both formal and informal situations.
Course materials:
We use the book Nederlands op Niveau, chapters 1–6 (including e-learning), the Studiewijzer B2.2 from Lest Best, Quizlet, the Lest Best YouTube channel, and extra exercises on compound verbs and fixed prepositions.
Assessment and certificate:
You will complete assignments and tests in speaking, listening, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. At the end of the course, you will receive a certificate with your results.
This course is designed for people who want to communicate effectively in Dutch at work and in everyday life. It is not aimed at civic integration or state exams.
