KNM Course – Knowledge of Dutch Society

Would you like to be well prepared for the integration exam and gain a better understanding of Dutch society? In this course, you will learn in an interactive way how the Netherlands works – from values and norms to current affairs and culture.

What will you learn?

In 9 lessons, we cover all 10 chapters of the Taal Compleet KNM book. You will read texts, complete assignments in the book and online, and discuss current topics using newspaper articles and videos. The subjects are practical and closely connected to everyday life in the Netherlands.

How do you track your progress?

We closely monitor your progress during the course. At the end, you will take an online mock exam for KNM. This will give you a clear picture of your readiness for the official exam.

Assessment

At the end of the course, you will take an online mock exam. The book assignments and online exercises will also be reviewed and assessed.

Vocabulary

You’ll learn many new words during the lessons. But to really make progress, it’s important to practise outside class as well. Reading Dutch texts, listening to Dutch audio, and watching Dutch videos will help you a lot.

Homework

You will receive homework in the form of online exercises. These help reinforce the material and improve your chances of success in the exam.

With this course, you not only build your language skills, but also develop a strong understanding of Dutch society. It’s a solid step towards integration and active participation in the Netherlands.
