The courses almost always take place. Only in very exceptional cases — for example, if there are too few participants — a course may be cancelled.
Dutch is spoken in all courses. Only in the beginners’ course do we also use English.
For all standard courses, the maximum number of participants is twelve.

That partly depends on the programme you follow — intensive or semi-intensive. After about three months, you’ll reach A2 level. You’ll then need approximately four more months to reach B1 level, and another four months to reach B2 level (in the intensive programme).
No, unfortunately not. In both Utrecht and Rotterdam, there are plenty of public parking spaces available (paid parking).
In the A1 and A2 courses, we pay a lot of attention to pronunciation and intonation. If that’s not enough, we can provide you with additional practice materials or arrange an appointment with our speech therapist.
In the group courses from A1 to B2, we administer a variety of tests covering all skills, as well as vocabulary and grammar.
You can retake a course once. However, if your effort or motivation is not sufficient, or if the course pace is too fast for you, we advise you to continue your studies at a different school.
State Exam Programme I is at B1 level. It allows you to enroll in certain vocational (MBO) programs. State Exam Programme II is at B2 level. With this level, you can enter a university of applied sciences (HBO) or pursue a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at a university.
You can follow a preparation course for the State Exam with us, but you have to register for the exam yourself through DUO. Click here for more information.
After each course, you will receive a certificate if you attended at least 80% of the lessons. If your results are not sufficient or if you were absent more often, you will receive a proof of attendance instead.
