Dutch Course B2.0 | Semi-intensive – Location: Utrecht, Rotterdam
Your command of the most important grammar structures will be strengthened, as will your understanding of pronunciation and spelling rules. Considerable attention is given to vocabulary development, and you will learn how to continue expanding your vocabulary independently.
The Dutch B2.0 course has been designed as a bridging course to facilitate a smoother transition from the B1 to the B2 level. This module lasts six weeks. The course prepares you thoroughly for the follow-up course B2.1. Your command of the most important grammar structures will be strengthened, as will your understanding of pronunciation and spelling rules. Considerable attention is given to vocabulary development, and you will learn how to continue expanding your vocabulary independently.
During the course, we work with a study guide, the Van Dale NT2 dictionary, and a range of reading and listening texts covering topics such as housing, social media, and mobility. You will practise retelling texts and writing assignments related to these themes. There is also extensive speaking practice. Various language functions are covered, including expressing your opinion, asking polite questions, and talking about personal experiences.
Throughout the course, you will complete a variety of tests and assignments focusing on speaking, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate showing your results. We also take your motivation and effort during the course into account. If these are sufficient, you may progress to the follow-up course: Dutch B2.1.

Admission Requirements
Due to the pace and nature of our courses, previous experience with learning a foreign language is a prerequisite for registration. In most cases, this will be English, but it may also be another foreign language, such as Spanish. We also expect participants to demonstrate sufficient commitment and motivation, as well as respect for commonly accepted norms and values in the Netherlands.

Course Fees and Discounts
All course fees listed exclude the cost of course materials (varies per course), unless otherwise specified. All course fees are exempt from VAT.
A €50 discount applies to each subsequent course. This discount increases up to a maximum of €150 per course (see the ‘Discounts’ tab). The discount is only valid for consecutive courses and expires if you temporarily stop studying at Lest Best.
